Because they have 3 versions of the V2 for example and not all housings matchįor the most part you can check the sticker on the back for this info but if you’re like me and the sticker was removed your best bet is to open the controller and read the JDM-Model yourself from the board. Title mostly covers it, I picked up a cosmetically damaged 2nd hand PS4 controller from my research so far I’ve identified it as a V2 and I’m interested in buying a new housing for it but I’m uncertain how to verify what I need without the Sticker on the back since most help articles I’ve found require info from the sticker to check with a website to tell you the model. ![]()
